Advanced Well-Equipped Laboratories in School
To enhance the learning ability, skill and to impart practical knowledge about the theoretical concepts, the school has a large number of modern lab systems including those of Physics, Chemistry, General Science, Biology, and Mathematics for better understanding through observation, experimentation, and demonstration.
Assessing Laboratory Learning
The School has an Assessment Lab for assessing the students learning independent of the teachers. This is a diagnostic tool with the school to find the gaps in teaching & learning.
Well-equipped Biology Lab in School
The Biology Lab is full of required specimens, apparatus, charts, chemicals for students to understand life science closely.
Chemistry Laboratory With Modern Apparatus
The Chemistry Lab is well equipped with all the modern apparatus and required chemicals for students to complete their projects under the supervision of teachers and lab assistants. Extra emphasis is given on safety measures for making learning a hassle-free process.
Physics Lab with Latest Equipments
The school has a dedicated Physics Lab with the latest equipment for the students to perform the experiments and acquire hands-on experience.
Fully Equipped Computer Laboratory
The school houses a fully equipped Computer lab- for junior and senior wing where the complete strength of the classes can be catered at one go. The students have guided access to the systems and are encouraged to exploit the system resources and in this, highly experienced and talented computer teachers and a lab assistant support them.
Language learning Labs
Language lab equipped is with modern communication system fitted for speech therapy and other audio and video activities which are designed to help them develop awareness about how they learn, improve their language skills like pronunciation and intonation.
Math’s Lab for School
It is a colorful lab to facilitate and engage the students in a variety of hands-on learning experiences. The students and teachers have put together models and gadgets in the laboratory.
There is also extensive use of technology. The computers and the internet are used for teaching, self-learning, interactive mental math quizzes, and speed calculation competitions. The geometer sketch pad and the handheld calculators are used to explaining concepts from coordinate geometry to calculus, to learn and understand quadratic equations; conic sections and trigonometric curves, etc.
Well-equipped Robotics Lab In School
To catch up with the technology growth, the school has revamped its curriculum by introducing a Robotics Laboratory wherein students would be carrying out different projects. Such a step has been taken to ensure the all-around and new age adaptable development of the students.
The robotics lab is a combination of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. It focuses on designing and making innovative electronic devices under the guidance of experts in a well-equipped lab.
Atal Tinkering Lab
DPS Bathinda has inaugurated its new Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) under Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog of Government of India.
ATL is a workspace where young minds can give shape to their ideas through hands-on do-it-yourself mode, and learn innovation skills. Young children will get a chance to work with tools and equipment to understand the concepts of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). ATL would contain educational and learning ‘do it yourself kits and equipment on – science, electronics, robotics, open-source microcontroller boards, sensors, and 3D printers and computers.
