GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING

This department plays a crucial role in school life. Its’ key roles are:

1. Help in the diagnosis of students with special educational needs and provide support in the mainstream classroom as well the resources room as per need.
2. Attend to students with emotional, psychological, and behavioural needs.
3. Attend to families of students who need guidance, support, and help.
4. Conduct training and sensitize staff on learning challenges that some children face due to different forms of issues like dyslexia, ADHD, etc.
5. Organize career guidance and counseling sessions for classes IX to XII.
