Delhi Public School, Bathinda was established in 2003 under the aegis of Delhi Public School Society. It is a senior secondary co-educational day-cum-boarding school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)

THE DPS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT GIRLS 2017: DAY 3

DAY:III Two matches were played on the last day of the tournament. First match was between DPS Srinagar & DPS Jalandhar in which DPS Srinagar secured 3rd position. Final match was between DPS Ambala & DPS Rewari in which Dps Rewari got 2nd and DPS Ambala secured 1st position respectively. The prizes were distributed to winning teams in a gala closing ceremony by the chief guest Mr. Ravinder Singh Gill, Motor Vehicle Inspector & President of Handball and Basketball Associations.

THE DPS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT GIRLS 2017: DAY 2

Day-2 started with the match between DPS Bathinda and DPS Jallandar from pool B. All the league matches were finished in the morning session. DPS Ambala , DPS Srinagar, DPS Rewari & DPS Jallander qualified for semi-finals from Pool A & B respectively. Semi finals were played in the evening. DPS Rewari & DPS Ambala won the matches and they both will compete in the final match tomorrow.

THE DPS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT GIRLS 2017: DAY 1

The first day of the tournament started with its inauguration by the Arjuna award recipient, DSP Bathinda, Avneet Kaur Sidhu, as the chief guest. All the 8 teams proudly flag marched and took the oath for fair play. The opening match was between DPS Ambala and DPS Srinagar. A total of 6 matches were played in all for both the pools in which DPS Ambala, DPS Jallandar, DPS Rewari, DPS Srinagar and DPS Bathinda were the winners.

A meeting of the coaches and managers of the teams was held on 07-10-2017 at 7:00 pm and fixtures were made as per the rules. The participating 8 teams are divided into 2 pools. Pool A: DPS Abohar, DPS Ambala, DPS Greater Faridabad and DPS Srinagar. Pool B: DPS Jallandhar, DPS Khanna, DPS Rewari and DPS Bathinda.

The-DPS Basketball Tournament Girls (Open) -2017 is going to be organised by DPS Bathinda from Sunday, 8th to Tuesday, 10th October, 2017 under the aegis of the Delhi Public School Society, New Delhi. A total of 8 teams, that includes DPS Abohar, DPS Ambala, DPS Greater Faridabad, DPS Jallandhar, DPS Khanna, DPS Rewari, DPS Srinagar and DPS Bathinda, are participating in it. May the best team Win!
